Deleting Favorites or Bookmarks

After you’ve been on the Internet for a while, you collect a lot of favorites or bookmarks. Sometimes your list may get unwieldy and you want to eliminate the favorites you no longer use. It’s easy to do.

Internet Explorer

Display your favorites by clicking on the button on the toolbar (not the Favorites menu). Right-click the one you want to remove and choose Delete from the menu. (On a Mac, click Organize Favorites on the Favorites Menu, select the one you want to remove, and press the Delete key on the keyboard.)

AOL/CompuServe

Choose Favorite Places from the Favorites Menu. Once the box is displayed, select the one you want to remove and hit the Delete key on the keyboard.

Netscape

Click the Bookmarks button and choose Edit Bookmarks from the menu. Select the one you want to remove and hit the Delete key on the keyboard.
