The original image (bottom) is a bit washed out and too distant.
First the image was cropped. Then editing the contrast and levels greatly improved the photograph. We removed the flash shadow from behind the blond girl's face, lessened the reflections on the wall, and made the printing on the map more apparent.

When adjusting photographs, there is an ethical consideration. Changing colors, or making cosmetic adjustments is fine. However, we would not adjust or enhance a photograph to misrepresent a product or an image.
