In working on a web image for Driveway Dumpsters, we needed photos from different seasons. The original image, shown below, was taken in the winter. The snow in the bottom corner was very washed out and the reflection on the window was distracting.
We added in a new background from an autumn day. We also changed the color of the house and reduced the reflection in the window.

When adjusting photographs, there is an ethical consideration. Changing colors, or making cosmetic adjustments is fine. However, we would not adjust or enhance a photograph to misrepresent a product or an image.
